Kai Sasaki is a PhD student of Department of Organic Materials Science, Yamagata University, Japan. His PhD project is focused on the development of a biosensor to detect physiological active substances (for example, odorant molecules and toxic chemicals) using mass spectrometric and electrochemical technique incorporated with molecular recognition based on supermolecular interaction and enzymatic reaction. Kai is interested in techniques to keep enzymatic activity for a long-time biosensor.

Kai is currently working on polymer-enzyme conjugates in the laboratories of Prof. Peter Walde and will stay until the end of February 2019. Welcome!
