About the Cover:
"The cover shows the generation of two electron−hole pairs upon photon absorption on a semiconductor photocatalyst. One electron migrates to the metal cocatalyst, where it reacts with a gas molecule. The other electron undergoes recombination with the hole. In photocatalysis, the efficient production of electron−hole pairs while avoiding recombination is crucial but also challenging. In this Review, the authors discuss strategies of how the selectivity and yield of photocatalytic gas phase reactions can be increased by optimizing the composition of the photocatalysts, their surface chemistry, and experimental parameters such as temperature, gas flow, or gas composition."
